Leadership Lab is for 4-H members ages 14-19.  Participants at lab take part in workshops and team-building activities that will help prepare them for leadership roles back in their own communities.  This year, Leadership Lab will be held at the Texas 4-H Conference Center in Brownwood.  The registration fee of $255 covers 2 nights lodging, all meals, program activities, insurance, curriculum, and t-shirts.  District Council Officer elections are held at Lab, as well.  Many participants look forward to dressing up for the theme dances, which are held at the end of each day. This year’s themes are “Rodeo” and “Super Heros.”

Registration is done via 4-H Connect and is due by May 26th.  The 4-H Office pays for half of the registration fee for Montgomery County 4-H members as the budget permits.  For details, visit http://d94-h.tamu.edu/files/2010/07/13srlabpromobroc11.pdf.
