4-H Pecans – On Sale While Supplies Last!

The 4-H Pecans have arrived!  For $11.50, you can purchase a full one pound bag of shelled pecans.  We have the halves or the pieces (chopped) to choose from.  The 4-H Pecan Sale is the main fundraiser for the entire Montgomery County 4-H Program.  If you are interested in purchasing them, please call the 4-H office at 936-539-7823, option 3 to make sure we still have them in stock. 

“Life Around the Barn” Management Techniquest for Active Horse Barns

This clinic will focus on health management concerns, paddock management for grass production, manure handling, & dressage demonstrations.  Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Yellow Rose Dressage Barn, 24111 West FM 1097, Montgomery, TX 77356. The Montgomery County Soil and Water Conservation District is offering this program at no cost to assist Forage & Livestock Producers with determining the nutritional value of the hay they have produced or acquired to be fed to their livestock.
